Founded in 2019 by quintessentially-London designer Alicia Robinson, AGR is a luxury knitwear brand that speaks boldly through colour.
Drawing on inspiration from the city’s diverse culture and a strong desire to challenge traditional knitwear themes, AGR is always experimenting with different fibres and new technical processes to create contemporary, sustainable and wearable pieces.

Based in South London, their studio is home to an industrial STOLL knitting machine allowing the brand to continue being at the heart of their organic and innovative design process.

AGR’s designs first caught the eyes of Canadian retailer SSENSE when Robinson’s family and friends stormed the city in a sea of colour for London’s 2018 Notting Hill Carnival; celebrating community through music, dancing and vibrant clothing encapsulated the brands’ core values and inspirations.
After releasing their first capsule with SSENSE, exploring both Menswear and Womenswear, AGR has gone on to produce five collections and is now stocked globally, including: Net-A-Porter, Browns, Saks, Nordstrom SSENSE, DSM, Selfridges

SPECIAL PROJECTS
The brand celebrated collaborations early on with Converse, Levi’s and Playstation and in 2021 went on to be nominated and ranked amongst the semi finalists for the prestigious LVMH prize; further catapulting the AGR name onto a global platform.
Robinson’s love of patchworking lends itself organically to the brand’s ever growing up-cycling processes, drawing attention from the ‘Nike By You: Move to Zero’ campaign, who commissioned AGR to produce an up-cycled capsule collection sold exclusively in NikeTown London. Continuing to push the boundaries of sustainability and waste reduction, AGR incorporates certified yarns, deadstock materials and recycled denim into their staple collection pieces.
